SNOW (& Christmas too!)

Christmas this year was a lot of fun. It's always a busy time of the year and the rushing around can make anyone feel a little stressed. To add to that December was a little terrible health wise for our family. We circled the stomach bug through our house..twice (lucky us!) and a nasty cold. Thankfully we have all recovered. Between our elf Mistletoe toe that Santa sent to watch the kids, Christmas tree shopping, decorating, meeting Santa, baking cookies, and wrapping presents the kids had a lot of fun.

Callie's Christmas this year was shopkins, bath bombs (her favorite store is LUSH), and fruit snacks (because clearly we deprive her and she doesn't get at least 2 packs a day..haha). She was also going to tell Santa that Carson was on the naughty list because he put all his toys in his mouth, but instead she decided he needed a dump truck.

Our favorite elf story of the year: One day Mistletoe got into the toilet paper (just like Carson likes to do now) and she decorated the tree. Well Carson saw the toilet paper and grabbed the end hanging off the tree..which caused Mistletoe to fall. Carson doesn't know you aren't allowed to touch the elf, so Callie almost killed him..and that's putting it nicely. Thankfully I scooped her up in a blanket just in time. She headed to the North Pole Hospital for a few days. I know these are the memories and stories we will look back on and laugh about.

Can't you tell she loves pictures?

This week we got 8 inches of snow! Callie had a blast playing in it. She ran right outside laid down and started making snow angels. Carson didn't go outside to play because I was terrified he would get sick again. I did sneak a picture of the 2 of them together this morning before it starts to melt. Carson didn't act very impressed by it. He was born in the middle of a snowstorm almost a year ago. We are planning a Bardyard Bash for him this weekend and we can't wait to see everyone!

Also a life update..I will be transferring off nights to peds March 1st (Praise the Lord) & we sold our house!! We are under contract on our new house. Moving with kids is a little very stressful so keep us in your prayers that everything works out as planned!
