My 11 & 12 Week Update

Sorry for skipping out on an update last week..this weeks long post will hopefully make up for it. Time is flying and I am growing up so fast! Over the past 2 weeks I have gotten more aware of things going on around me. I am still wearing 3 months clothes, but I really fill them out. Even some 3-6 month pajamas fit me now. This weekend we are making a trip back to Daddy & Mommy's hometown to visit some family and friends. I am a very busy girl!

I got to watch my first UNC football game. Even if we did lose miserably..I still looked adorable decked out in my little Carolina dress, headband, and socks! My Daddy got me this dress in February the day after he found out I was a girl. Who says girls can't wear blue?

I also got to watch the baseball playoffs to cheer on the Atlanta Braves with Daddy & Dexter! It was sad ending to a great season. Hopefully I get to go down and watch a few games in Atlanta one day.

but not your little girl! She's going to be a sports fan :)

Since I was born I have always loved laying on my back & side. I was laying sideways in Mommy's belly during every ultrasound. I didn't flip all the way head down until about 32-34 weeks..and that's only because I ran out of room. This week I found out just how comfy it is to sleep on my belly!

Most people complain about how many diaper changes a baby requires, but it has really become one of Mommy's favorite times with me. I love laying on my changing table and always smile up at her. Who doesn't love getting cleaned up?

Being in pharmacy school with a newborn can be a challenge. Keeping me & Daddy taken care of and making good grades is more than a full time job! I love to sleep on her chest while she works.

Bath time is more fun every week. I have started to smile when I get put in the sink before the water is even on because I know what is coming. Getting out really makes me mad. They always warm my towel in the dryer (poor little girl isn't spoiled at all), but I don't like being cold when it's time to put my pajamas on & lotion is probably my least favorite thing in the WHOLE WORLD!

Headbands really stress me out

I wanted to close this post with a very special request. Last Friday our friends John & Beth welcomed their beautiful twin boys, Evan & Ryan, into the world at just 24 weeks. Due to complications Evan joined God in Heaven on Sunday. Please say a special prayer for their entire family as they deal with this loss. Ryan is doing well, but he still has a long road ahead of him. We are confident his big brother is watching over him every step of the way. We also ask for you to pray for Ryan as he grows up to be a strong little boy!
