I'm A Big Girl Now!

Callie has some big news to share..she's offically potty trained! We couldn't be more proud of our BIG GIRL! We decided months ago the week after Christmas was when potty boot camp was going to start. It was a crazy week and in the beginning a little very stressful. With the help of M&M's, jelly beans, Frozen & Peppa Pig panties, the iPad, and her Minnie Mouse potty she has it mastered. She went to school all week with no accidents. She did tell her teacher the potty seat was cold..so she now has a special padded seat to use at school. What can I say? We are raising a little diva.

This week Callie was saying her bedtime prayers all by herself and said: "Dear Lord, thank you for Mommy, Daddy, Baby Brother, Dexter, Callie, time with friends at school, my best friend Kasyn, and poop on the potty! Amen." Needless to say we lost it. She's right, we are very thankful and need to thank God for the little things in life more often.

Here's to enjoying a max of 2 more weeks diaper free in the Joyner house! We are ready for you Baby Brother :)
