17 months & Disney World!

It has been a busy few months! On Friday I was 17 months old. I had to go to the doctor for a check up and shots (ouch!) I still weigh in at 23 pounds and have grown to be 32 inches tall. I am saying a lot more words, love Disney Junior, and dancing. Anytime music comes on I have to stop to dance. I love wearing bracelets (about 5 on each arm at all times), brushing my teeth (every time my bathroom door is open), playing in Dexter's crate, and my newest favorite thing..walking around in my cowgirl boots. I am all girl and sassy as can be! 

This month I also got to go to Walt Disney World for the first time! I loved it! I got to meet all my favorite characters and liked most of them...but Santa, that's a different story. I got to ride a bunch of rides, see a few shows, watch the parade, and fireworks. We also got to celebrate Daddy's birthday there. I think I was good enough that they might take me back soon :) Sorry the pictures are all out of order..hope you enjoy!

I can't wait for Christmas..even though I cried in Santa's lap he told me he was going to come see me this year. I am excited to spend time with my family. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas. Check back for another blog post at the end of the week!

Not my best friend this year

15 months

I can sum up 15 months in one word..BUSY. I am always on the move. This month I weigh in at 23 pounds, have 9 or 10 teeth (I won't let Mommy look at my new molars that are coming in), and my new words are 'duck', 'sock' & 'pumpkin'.

I had to have my 1st surgery last week to put tubes in my ears. This will hopefully keep away those nasty ear infections. I was a tough girl! After my surgery I came home for cuddles all day and got my very 1st baby doll.  I know how to feed her with her bottle, kiss her, and put in her pacifier. I am trying to talk Mommy & Daddy into getting me a baby brother/sister.

This weekend I went to Kersey Valley to pick out a pumpkin. I had a blast running around the Pumpkin Patch and picked out the perfect one to take home. I am ready for Halloween!

Want to know the good news? Mommy & Daddy didn't find one that I would fit in. I didn't forget what they did last year..they put my inside my pumpkin!

Me & Dexter are best friends. We love to cuddle, go on walks, and sometimes I even share my snacks with him! I have an awesome big brother!

I got to go to Late Night With Roy this year! My Daddy was thrilled to have me there. I had a lot of fun..but was NOT a fan of Ramses.

14 Months!

Today I am 1 year & 2 months old..or like Mommy & Daddy like to say "14 months" because it makes them feel like I am still a tiny baby. I guess 23 pounds is still tiny in their eyes. The past 2 months have been busy. I moved to High Point, started my new school, got my first haircut, and learned how to walk! My new words are doggie and baby. I say a lot of other things, but no one can really understand me yet. I love to eat..anything and everything. I know where the pantry is and I make sure everyone knows when I want a snack. My 7 little teeth can do a lot of munching! Another big step that I took recently is putting myself to sleep at night. I still love being rocked, but I can be a big girl too! 

I got my first haircut about a week after my first birthday and I did pretty good with it. My hair has grown a lot since then and it's now long enough to wear in a little ponytail!

I took my first step on my due date (July 25th) at home with Daddy. I loved how excited he got so I decided to wait a few more days before I took another step. I was a little wobbly for a few weeks and would only walk between 2 people. Then on the day Mommy & Daddy were moving and trying to unpack I shocked them by taking off full speed across the room. With boxes and stuff everywhere it was a great time for me to get into everything. Right? :)
